 Our
farm and our beef, is located in central Maryland. It's about 1 ½ hours from the Washington D.C. beltway
(I-495) located in picturesque rolling farm country of the central Maryland valley with views of the Blue Ridge
Mountains.
Sharpsburg, MD encompasses one of the most significant days in American History. The battle of Antietam, the single
bloodiest day of the Civil War was fought a mile from our farm, which was used as a staging area and field hospital
for the wounded. Both the battlefields and the town of Sharpsburg have not changed much from that monumental day.
Visiting the battlefield and visiting the surrounding historic towns such as Shepherdstown WV, make for a great
day get-away.
